  • Before meeting her, I was skeptical about the benefits of yoga, my skepticism instantly melted away, because of her wonderfully friendly personality and irrepressible positive lifeforce. Due to my shoulder being easily dislocated I’m not very trustful of people moving my arms But g Farah listened to my concerns and asked insightful questions about my various ailments. This put me at my easy because I had confidence that she was really listening and understood both the physical and mental barriers I was hoping to overcome. As a result, I am totally relaxed about her hands-on guidance and corrections to my posture. This initial trust has as grown into total admiration for her knowledge of the holistic working of the body. She also understands how our bodies perform differently depending on our mental state. Indeed, I have learnt how transformational the power of our breathing can be, both to physically and mentally help us push the boundaries of what we think is possible. Farah also has a great sense of humor which is always welcome and is another reminder not to be too hard on myself. Having said this, she is not scared to push me when I’m being lazy or overly cautious. It takes a lot of skill to produce a calm, and welcoming teaching environment, but to add warmth, joy and a sense of playfulness to these sessions is the result of an excellent teacher.

  • I am very grateful for the 3-months journey with Farah. Her knowledge, support and teaching style allowed me to expand in my body in a way I couldn’t imagine especially that I have scoliosis and had limiting belief on what my body can do. She also allowed me to have a stronger mind-body connection. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone who wants to start his yoga practice.
